sally west: a walk around the  neighborhood, 2023

The idea for this work originated from the concept of a fictional character I created: The persona of Sally West. The gathered fragments of her personal mundane objects and heavy antique furniture respond to the contrasting architectural buildings of the new ‚Hafenviertel‘ and its environment. An environment in which architectural industries with their minimalistic aesthetics of the new quarters attempt to domesticate, control and commoditize the forces of home.
